BHASVIC is committed to equality of opportunity and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Therefore shortlisted candidates must complete a full College application form, may be subject to online searches and are required to complete a self-declaration of their criminal record or information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. There is a requirement for all successful candidates to apply for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service disclosure (DBS) in addition to referencing and qualification checks.
