FTE to be confirmed dependent on student numbers, some flexibility between 0.4130 (9.5 hours) and 0.8043 (18.5 hours). Please specify in your application your preferred number of hours within this range.

BHASVIC is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Biology & Biomedical Science. The post has arisen due to the introduction of a new Level 3 course, Biomedical Science, as well as increase in students wanting to study Biology A Level.

Contract details: 

• Permanent 
• Part time: Flexibility between 9.5 hours per week and 18.5 hours per week. 
• The current full-time salary range for qualified teachers is £33,465 to £51,714 per annum (depending upon experience). This will be pro-rated based on your FTE.  
• You will automatically become members of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) www.teacherspensions.co.uk.
